All our products are the efforts of master weavers dedicated to enriching India’s illustrious heritage of handloom weaving. Not only do we utilize the skill of centuries past but we search out raw materials with the unmistakable beauty only nature alone can produce. You can’t duplicate hand milling of fiber to bring out its natural luster and softness. You can’t match the distinct character of textiles made one piece at a time with sheets of fabric rolling off a machine. Micro-fibres can’t compare with the wispy, gossamer Dacca muslin. No dyed silk can compare to the natural soft linen-like hand of gold mooga silk that glitters in the sunlight. The dying is done by hand on individual shawls between dyed lots, there is a 95% color consistency. The Indian textile pantone color cards are used and the color range therefore is virtually endless. Only AZO-free dyestuff is used. Vegetable dying is also possible to enhance the value of this opulent fabric.
